Duochrome Nail Polish with Gold Stamping

I included multiple pictures so you can all see the color shift in the polish. In low light, it looks royal purple, but in bright light it becomes a really pretty blue. I LOVE this polish.

The duochrome nail polish shade I used is Kleancolors Bright/Moody from This set. For the stamping, I used the Gold from the Kleancolors metallic nail polish set.

As I’m sure you’ve noticed, I am a HUGE fan of the Kleancolors metallic polishes. I was really excited to try the duochrome polishes as well. I will say, the duochrome polishes are really thin, you’ll need to plan to do SEVERAL coats, or put the polish over black. I went with putting black polish as my base, then I only needed one coat of the chrome polish.

As for stamping, the metallics (every shade) all stamp great. The duochrome polishes are too thin to stamp. They did stamp off the plate, but they were too light to see on my nail itself.

For the stamp itself, I used the Ravenclaw plate from this set. I LOVE all of these Harry Potter Nail Stamp Plates. I can’t recommend them enough.
